About 1 hour into the fire at 187 Lombard St., crews are hitting remaining hot spots.
The roof has caved in, and the building is expected to require an emergency demolition.

DO NOT drive over active fire hose lines.
These are not garden hoses — fire hoses can be 3 to 5 inches wide and may be under heavy pressure.
Driving over them can damage the hose, your vehicle, and put firefighters at risk.

Broadway may also be closed due to fire apparatus and hose lines being laid across the roadway.

Crews are looking for a red-top hydrant for additional water pressure and plan to relay hose lines from Broadway to the ladder trucks.
