Honestly, I feel the painting losing its original aesthetic. The feeling of a great conqueror does not exist, rather a normal fighter on a horse. It doesn’t give the vibe of a hero. I think it makes me feel that way because of some important but losing elements. #hwa3 #wileyfeelings

Wiley's painting is very thought-provoking. Like there's a tension between the two, where one is familiar and the other is unfamiliar, yet both are performing the same action. I think it's because theres a mix of recognition, like the horse, but also surprise (face, clothes).
