tbh this seems like something everyone, even Republicans, could enjoy... #WhatIfRepublicans stop wreaking havoc in our communities and/or fearmongering about sharia law to spend their time line dancing instead -- NYC can be wonderful and even more so when #WhatIfDems just do good things for people.

#WhatIfDems instead? American holds autocrats accountable -- and rolls out the red carpet for our actual allies and friends.

Wow. Shame on this Republican candidate, who should definitely resign and retire and stop sending the police after his own patients.

#WhatIfDems? No arrests for $50 of debt. #WhatIfDems even Medicare for All!?

Republicans gutted the systems that protect us from dangerous food, getting us sick WHILE they cut our health insurance and make it harder for us to get care when (not if) we need it.

But #WhatIfDems? Use government to make sure that the food we buy will be safe to eat.

It shouldn’t be this hard.

#WhatIfDems? Let’s get this done! If a corporation exploits publicly-funded programs to cushion their profit margin, our government should not be giving them MORE business. In fact, we should probably investigate them for other wrongdoing.

We live in a country where tragedies like this can happen every day. Because Republicans in office—not even all the folks who voted for them!—want it that way.

It doesn’t have to be like this. We can demand better. #WhatIfDems? More humanity, less ICE.

Oh for sure! My call to action and point here is about electing a specific type of Dems, which I call “ #WhatIfDems “ who actually are committed to getting good shit done — and empowered and held accountable by the voters to make things not suck. Not every incumbent or past leader makes that cut!

It’s all for sale, especially under Trump.

But #WhatIfDems? Focus the FBI on investigations into corruption like this. Prosecute the law-breakers. Make government work for us, not Republicans’ corporate masters.

#WhatIfDems get elected? Inject this level of public service straight into our veins:

You know what, let’s try it and see how it goes! Let’s give our #WhatIfDems control over government and see if we can deliver lower energy prices—we’ll start by restarting the wind projects Trump paid to shut down, and then maybe not bomb a bunch of energy infrastructure, how about that!?

#WhatIfDems must meet this moment. We must hold the Trump administration's law-breakers accountable, even if that requires creativity. How about 1 investigator finds the facts and then another censors the identifying info, so judges just judge based on the actions, not the names? Or better ideas!

Trump: Flailing, in any attempts to mitigate the harms of his idiotic choices to antagonize our allies. Lying to our faces, about actions he might take to help.

#WhatIfDems? Do trade fairly and efficiently with our allies, making sure that American farmers have access to the supplies they need.

#WhatIfDems? Let’s run everywhere, challenge the status quo everywhere, and offer an alternative for folks to believe in!

#WhatIfDems? Keep prosecuting the case. Ensure that we build the broad, deep coalition that will be required to deliver accountability for Trump and Republicans who have violated the Constitution and abandoned their duty to the people they are supposed to serve. Keep your eye on the target: trials.

May I add? #WhatIfDems ban politicians from using TSA PreCheck and other membership programs that protect them from the consequences of their infrastructure investment votes?

Or one better: Require Congress to commute to Washington by train. Enjoy the system they voted for! (Hawai'i can fly to LA.)

Correct. #WhatIfDems? Let’s stop shooting ourselves in the feet. Let’s stop antagonizing everyone with incompetence and unnecessary, reckless violence. Let’s work together with our allies to address today’s crises.

Under Republicans: Our tax dollars pay people with guns who shoot our neighbors and then leave those victims bleeding on the ground. Who could imagine a good reason why they would do that, or why we should keep paying them to.

But #WhatIfDems? Shut this down. Investigate. Hold them accountable.
