I was in the middle of my lecture on the Matcha Drawdown Crisis of 96 when I was interrupted by Colonel Chiffon and his soldiers...

After weeks of searching, they found her body, deposited into the #delta of the local river

They thought finding her corpse would provide answers, but it left them with more questions

What kind of creature could have removed all her bones, while leaving her skin intact?

Patiently waiting for the November #Delta to see if we can take the first steps toward getting the country out of the hands of the parasite class and back to the people.

There's nothing more soul-crushing than waiting at the crossroads in the #Delta for the Devil to appear only for him to tell you he's not interested in your soul because you don't play an instrument.
Apparently a full DJ deck doesn't count.

the fish remembers the #delta,

as pain receptors flare along its lip
it takes one last look
one last gulp of air,
before the knife slices through
the silver scales of its belly
(oh, how the fish could shine!)
it blinks one last time, thinks
who knows, maybe heaven is a delta

My eyes glazed over
as my sexy mathematician
bitch of an ex
girlsplained the complex formula
that proved our relationship
no longer added up

Seems the #delta
between her material expectations
and the sum of my net income
exceeded her affections
for soon to be subtracted me

My vomit creeps along the kitchen floor tiles. My lunch carrots gather at the #delta where it flows under the door. The slate is cold against my cheek, but I can't lift my head. The bile makes my lips sore as it dries. I hope my family comes soon. They promised they'd visit, if they had time

Day 650: Woke up. Wrote a poem. Made some art. Pinned it to the Wall. #Delta #vss365

Tempted to rhyme “delta” with “felt ya” and “melt ya” but managed to resist.

More Tomorrow. 🏔️

who knows
from whence the waters came
gravity pulls down
but a countless details
of topograhy
led us to meet
at the moment
we did

and I always though
we would get to the sea
that place
where all love
rests

but I am caught
in the delta
in the thick sediment
of unanswered questions
alone

Locked, together we
Find shelter in each other.
Delta storms are strong.

Delta heard the crime
Chi had done, but for the weak
Silence feels safer.

When I get weary,
I get the Blues, too.
But there's no Mississippi #Delta
shining like a National Guitar* for me.
Where I live, a different river flowers,
opening up into the Baltic Sea.
Thus, the Seagull Choir & me
sing the Schwentine Delta blues.

The tarot card that resonates most strongly with the word #delta is Death.

And it does so, because both word and card can symbolize endings, transitions and transformations.

The Death card is not about literal death, but rather about leaving behind and opening to something new.

"Y did ya drag me outta bed? Dis job waz ta keep ya outta ma precious nap time!" Riz moaned.
"Because if there's really a ghost haunting this #delta, I want to know why. I need your senses to do that!" I argued back.
"I waz havin a gud dream as well!"
