Am rechten Rand des wagerechten bildes steht an einem langen blätterlosen Stiele die Blütendolde einer wilde Möhre. Der kurz behaarte Stiel verläuft von der rechten unteren Ecke leicht schräg faßt bis zum oberen Bildrand. Dort macht er eine Kurve nach unten, so dass der abwärts gerichtete Blütenstand etwa in der halben Höhe hängt. Es sieht aus, als verneigt sie die wilde Möhre in Richtung Bildmitte.
Vom Gegenlicht strahlen die Ränder von Stengel und Blütenstand.
Der Vordergrund ist ansonster frei. Der gesammte Hintergrund ist eine verschwommene warme goldgelbe Fläche, die von oben nach unten leicht dunkler wird. Es ist das warme Licht der Abendsonne. Am unteren Bildrand kann man leicht grün noch andere Pflanzen erahnen.

Wagerechtes Bild helles sonniges Bild mit Gegenlicht. Verschwommen beige-graueR Hintergrund. Im Vordergrund im rechten Drittel eine Frontalansicht eines halb offenen Blütenstandes der wilden Möhre, der sich etwas nach vorne und links neigt. Links diagonal ins Bild ragend breite, spitz zulaufende Grasblätter. Eines davon verläuft bis zur Mitte des Blütenstandes und berührt diesen am Rand. Tief stehende Sonne beleuchtet die Szene und lässt die Ränder des Blütenstandes und des Grasses leuchten. Auch durch einen Teil der Einzelblüten und die Lücken zwischen ihnen sieht man die Sonne.
Die Szene wirkt wie eine ruhige zarte Geste.
