今年の新しいUnicode(18.0)では、“Monarch butterfly”（オオカバマダラ）という橙色の蝶のemojiが追加(U+1FACC)されるらしい。
既に🦋(U+1F98B)があるのに何で「別の種類の蝶」をわざわざ追加するのかと思ったけど、どうやら、
「U+1F98Bは環境(フォント)によって青色の場合と橙色の場合があり、これが*重大な互換性問題*を引き起こしている」
ということらしい(えええっ😲)
つまり、新しいUnicodeでU+1FACCに「確実に橙色の蝶」が追加されるため、U+1F98Bは事実上「確実に青色の蝶」になる見込み。
