Can't remember where you wrote something down? One word brings back the tag, the place, the person and the claim that mention it, lit up in every row. Or filter the table on tag, field, visibility or map. A question asked twice can be saved.

Love the shoutout for my book...thank you @storyenginedeck.bsky.social! Their decks do get a well deserved name drop in "Tabletop Role-Playing Games in the Classroom." Among other uses, Story Engine can be great training wheels for how students can collaboratively tell a tale. #EduSky #TTRPGsky
Not everything needs a chronicle. This is a heist one shot built in an evening: six people and a painting, who wants what, who used to work with who. One map, three tags, two notes. It's finished, and nothing nags you to fill in the rest.
Are you ready for this, Hartford?
Today's a writing day, and I'll be getting into some script coverage and the next draft of the #JumpRangers novel! But first...

A ship's mind ran as three copies, and for eleven minutes they stopped agreeing. Now each remembers those minutes differently. Each account is an outline on the map, and where two outlines catch one compartment, one account is wrong. The players argue which in the forum.
Entities belong to the collection, not to a map. Add the cast as a list and never draw anything, or draw a map once there is something worth drawing. Both are a finished way to leave it. Folders and Fields are empty on every row here.
Every event in here is a record with fields. A date on an invented calendar, a type, participants each carrying a named role, a location. Eras are records too, with their own bounds, so one of them covers a single bad season rather than an age.
Your collection prints. These are pages out of a PDF this collection actually produced, the same stretch exported twice: once as the owner, once Player safe. Two events are gone from the second, because hidden means hidden in the file you hand over.
A trading city on the relationship map. Every line has a type and a note, so the map says why two things are connected.
Built as swimlanes, one lane for each party, so you can see what the archive and the underwriters were each doing in the same season. Everything else came free: the same events as a reading list, as spans, as a spiral of two centuries. Entered once.
The thing most easily lost is a consequence you thought of while writing something else down. So the event form takes it unwritten: name what caused this, name what it causes, and Fateweaver walks you back through the new ones to fill in.
The writing sits on the thing it's about. A person's page holds the essay. The line between two of them holds the sentence saying why that link is there, with room for 15,000 characters. A note about a landfall both companies claim sits on that bit of map.

Hey, I'm Scott. I'm relaunching Fateweaver, six years into building it. The UI is redesigned, and there's much more under it now: a chronicle, analysis, packs. This is one collection, a trading city as a map with its places on a globe. Hello again.
