When you win 777 you get 10 special rounds when the Pom finds a treasure each time to give you a bonus of sorts. I got nothing but "M" coins but I assume other wins are possible?

The slot machines with the bouncing Pom are my favorite thus far. The Pom will encounter things on his journey and depending on the outcome it influences the slots. I've seen encounters with monsters and chests thus far.

It's a mini adventure to go on with a Pom friend!

I don't like roulette and this implementation hasn't done anything to change my mind. The ball landing animation is slow and the odds of winning not boosted as far as I know. I may play some to try to get the special rewards but...

Black Jack seems a standard implementation. It allows for larger bets than poker so may be a good way of quickly winning if luck is with you. Statistically it's not a bad game in that it doesn't favour the house too badly.

Poker I find consistent to keep you at break even or slightly ahead most of the time. It's relatively safe.

Estelle occasionally comments on the hand which may have some influence over the odds of winning? Not sure.

Casino mini game, mini guide: I started with 200 medals. I'm up to about 600 now so naturally I've got a perfect system to win. 😜

Seriously though many of the best prizes are cheap (the fishing rod and Gambler Jack book) and there are bonus rewards in the menu too.

I spent hours in the one in Endor in Dragon Quest 4. This slot machine rather reminds me of the simplicity of early DQ but the top with the Pom is more like Dragon Quest 11.

Made it through the prologue unscathed on nightmare difficulty. So far like 1st chapter the key is speed stat, buffs, and shields to survive the bosses. Earth Guard is especially valuable.

Also I knew something was up...
