Finished #TheShards last night. Total BS ending which apparently is what the book offered also. I did enjoy the 80s backdrop, the music and watching how carefree life was before the AIDS crisis took over.

#TheShards has some lines and moments. This dance show episode definitely the most so far. “Damn it. Cha Cha has c*m stains on her dress again.”

Forgot to pay attention in the first episode. But in 2&3 they did a good job of only playing songs from 1981 and earlier. One of my pet peeves for a soundtrack is when they randomly mix music from throughout the decade when the timestamp has been clearly specified. #TheShards

Finally watching #TheShards. I used to read Bret Easton Ellis’ stuff back in college. Very closeted then, I enjoyed how his characters were often gay/bi. This is not one of his books that I read and is apparently more recent. Not sure what to make of the show. Seems very Ryan Murphy influenced.

Finished watching last night - loved it. Lush, lurid and ludicrous, wouldn't change a beat of it.

I really hope there'll be more.

Bret and Robert’s chemistry kept me hooked on #TheShards. https://www.tvfanatic.com/the-shards-ryan-murphy-best-most-frustrating/ Its finale left me wondering what all that suspense was building toward. Were you satisfied or just as frustrated? #FX #RyanMurphy
