As in #cdrama #TheRoadToSplendor I enjoy in #AgainstTheCurrent that we do not only see the glamour and life of the "high society" but even more the hard life of the "enslaved" servants and their daily struggle!

My story about Zhao Ling’s “rise” has finally come to an end.

Zhao Ling’s journey, from the military camp to the imperial court, lasted several years. Meanwhile, my own journey, from the Hengdian World Studios courtyards to the ancient city of Shanxi, and then to the sands of the desert, lasted four months.

I’m grateful to the director and screenwriter for giving me the opportunity to enter his life and experience this turbulent fate. I’m also grateful to the entire team, both in front of and behind the cameras, who accompanied me through the world of “The Road to Splendor” and helped me bring this magnificent work to completion.

Finally, thank you to all the viewers who supported #TheRoadToSplendor along the way. I hope that Zhao Ling’s experience can give you a little strength; the vitality of wild grass should never be underestimated, and I hope that each of us will have the courage and determination to turn the game around!

I have been really busy with the MFA, so I have been watching my dramas at a slower pace lately. I still got the final six episodes of #TheRoadToSplendor and the last four of #TheEarlySpring.

I am watching it all. Tonight. I can’t let responsibilities take away the time of thins I love.
