Alfred Newman's score for #TheMarkOfZorro is good and swashbuckly, but I *love* the theme for the 50s TV show #TCMParty

Zorro finds a lot of convenient bushes around

Just realized that Tyrone is wearing watered silk, which apparently photographs much better on BW (I think it looks awful when photographed in color 😅) #TCMParty #TheMarkOfZorro

Y'all know how I feel abt Evil Basil Rathbone 😍 #What'sPoppin #TheMarkOfZorro #TCMParty

I either forgot or just realized that physical media of #TheMarkOfZorro has a commentary by Richard Schickel. I wonder what that's like... Has anyone listened to it? #TCMParty

Tyrone Power would've made an awesome Columbo villain, and Linda Darnell his victim. #TheMarkOfZorro #TCMParty

Diego's always like "All your drama gives me the vapors" 😭😭😭 #TheMarkOfZorro #TCMParty

Didn't recognize the Bishop of the Black Cannons with the beard.

Half the budget was spent on puffy shirts. #TrueHollywoodFact #TheMarkOfZorro #TCMParty

Ok why didn't he play the other scenes more like this one? Here he's actually much more convincing! #TheMarkOfZorro #TCMParty

Bill Mumy said in his TV archive interview that Guy Williams ended up moving down to Argentina and was basically treated like a god.

Guy Williams appeared in The Mississippi Gambler w Tyrone Power in 1953. Williams' turn as Zorro premiered on TV in 1957, a year before Power's untimely passing. It's entirely possible Power could've seen it. #TheMarkOfZorro #TCMParty

Has anyone pointed out that Tyrone Powers’ #TheMarkOfZorro was the movie that young Bruce Wayne’s parents took him to the might they were murdered in the comics? #TCMParty

I was SUPER obsessed with Zorro as a kid (kinda still am 😂) and even dressed up as him for Halloween I think the same year that the Antonio Banderas adaptation came out (my mom also made a Zorro mask for my Wishbone plushie 😆) 🙌🏼 #TCMParty #TheMarkOfZorro

Oh great you just drowned the horse.

He doesn't want her to see his ear piercing iykyk #TheMarkOfZorro #TCMParty

I like Tyrone Power but I wish he had created a more convincing alter ego. Weak. Awkward. He does magic tricks when no one asks FFS. When I first saw Douglas Fairbanks do it he was so believably socially awkward I just about died laughing because I did NOT see that coming! #TheMarkOfZorro #TCMParty

I went directly from the ship to our old home. I met Senor Quintero and his charming wife. I found them very pleasant and agreeable./Pleasant scorpions! Agreeable rattlesnakes! #TheMarkOfZorro #TCMParty
