Another highly requested fellow on Tumblr. Thankfully Gurjin's got a lot of love to give! 🤗

#TheDarkCrystal #Gelfling

Black and white half body drawing of Gurjin (The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance). He smiles widely at the viewer and beckons them to come closer. The speech bubbles next to him say: "Hugs? Aaw, sure thing!" We heroes live to serve, after all!"

Rek'yr was requested over on my Tumblr and I was more than happy to oblige 😌 It did wonders to my art block, so wohoo!

Apparently our Sandmaster also has a very, very fine tongue, heh... 👅

#TheDarkCrystal #Gelfling

Black and white bust of Rek'yr (The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance). He looks down to his side with a smug grin on his face. The speech bubble next to him says: "Heheh... You speak with a fine tongue, but you need more than that if you wish to keep it in this life!"

You bet sparring is an act of love to these two 💪💪

Craved for some Mira x Rian stuff so I had to go to the mines and make it myself. There's not enough out there aaargh!!

#TheDarkCrystal #Gelfling

Black and white comic panel featuring Mira (The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance). She's wearing a sporty bra and pants. Her wings are spread and she's pressing her knuckles against her palm with a smug look on her face. The speech bubble next to her says: "Oh? Coming back for more?"

Black and white comic panel featuring Rian (The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance). He's wearing a loose, sleeveless top. He's giving Mira a thumbs up with a silly looking smile on his face. His hair is disheveld and his body is full of scratches and bruises. There's a comical band-aid on his head and a dizzy swirl above it emitting tiny hearts. The arrow next to him says: "Loves to get his ass kicked."

A fully colored illustration depicts the bust of a gelfling woman. She faces the viewer's left, smiling pleasantly. Tayo has brown hair with both lighter and darker streaks mixed in, styled away from her face and falling mostly behind her shoulders. Her skin is pale, though her forehead ombres down from a darker green color to the blushing on her cheeks. As a gelfling, she has pointed ears, large eyes, a long and flat nose, and small brows.

Tayo wears a blue grey scarf around her neck, over a cream colored top and a brown leather shoulder pauldron. She sits on an orange rectangular background, and to her left, two purple sword silhouettes float.

This week's movie poster design is for The Dark Crystal, illustrated by Richard Amsel.

Distinguishing his official 1982 poster from Brian Froud's concept art and the great fan art out there can be tricky!

This weeks Movie poster Design is for the Dark Christal, illustrated by Richard Amsel.

Released in 1982, this design frames Jim Henson's world beautifully with an aged parchment border and detailed character collage.

A classic piece of film illustration.

A colored bust shows a gelfling looking off to the viewer's right. The gelfling has muted skin, elongated pointed ears, a long and very flat nose, and large dark eyes. He wears muddy green armor with yellow scaling and red ties, matching his red droplet earrings.

A red circle rises behind the gelfling, with two small four pointed stars.
