Mistigram: if you haven't yet enjoyed today's dose of CONTENTover social media, @atonalosprey is here to remedy this lack with his #teletext dispensation, now conveniently packaged in capsule form! This screen was included in last month's unthemed MIST0826 artpack collection.

A jaundiced person brazenly displays on their tongue the capsule of content they are about to ingest.

QTeletextMaker v1.0 released.

The Level 2.5 #teletext editor has always been compilable on Linux but it's now downloadable as an AppImage too.

From github.com/gkthemac/QTe... where the usual Windows exe within a zip can also be found (mind the SmartScreen warnings!).

Happy 28th Birthday #Google!

The date on this #teletext artwork (from 2016) actually represents when the company was first incorporated.

Probably inspired by this Philip Linde #artwork: www.flickr.com/photos/lektr...

Confusing and delicious! It tied for first place (with TeletextR's recently-shared "Bindependence" screen) in the #teletext compo at Ledbury's Field-FX demoparty this past summer, and was included in last month's unthemed MIST0826 artpack collection.

While i was at school i saw YLE filming a show at a movie theater i did work experiance at.
Because i run a teletext service and love being a "journalist" i had to make a article about it!

Happy #NationalTeletextDay 2026! How about a new artwork based on that classic Pages From #Ceefax car?

52 years of #teletext x 52 weeks = 2704 weeks of teletext

Art viewable on @soyuzteletext500.bsky.social's HBN Teksti-TV: bollenstreekmedianetwerk.nl/hbn/teletext...

Teletext artwork to celebrate National Teletext Day, 23 September 2026. A riff on a classic teletext artwork seen on Pages From Ceefax, with a red vintage car with cyan windscreen and yellow number plate driving down a village road with grass by the side, where "1974-2012" (the years of Ceefax) is printed. The heading says "BBC Ceefax", with each word rendered in its separate classic pixel block logo style. A black aeroplane takes off in the sky, a direct lift from the "Travel News Follows" page it is based on.

Mistigram: some minimalist artforms are primarily concerned with outlines, others with the use of negative space. Somewhere in between is this monochrome approach, in the vein of the #BitmapBrothers ' memorable logo, drawn in #teletext by @atonalosprey.

A forearm and hand textured with alternating black and white horizontal lines differentiate themselves starkly from a background composed entirely of alternating white and black horizontal lines.

Time for another Level 2.5 #teletext recreation of an album cover.

This time it is Telex's 1979 album "Looking for Saint Tropez", worth checking out just for their cover of "Rock around the clock"!

A Level 2.5 teletext re-creation of the album cover "Looking for Saint Tropez" by Telex.

An abstract artwork based on a television test card divided into six horizontal sections.

The first section has the word "Telex" in a white calculator-like segment font on a black rectangle set upon a light blue strip with a partial grid of white lines.

The second section is five coloured squares, in order from left-to-right they are coloured yellow, mid-blue, green, pink and red.

The third section in the middle is a black strip with a white horizontal line through the middle interspresed with vertical lines.

The fourth section is alternating black and white vertical stripes.

The fifth section is five rectangles in varying shades of grey, from dark grey on the left to white on the right.

The sixth section at the bottom is a light blue strip with the text "Looking for St Tropez" in white. In the middle of the strip is a narrow red triangle pointing downwards.A Level 1 teletext re-creation of the album cover "Looking for Saint Tropez" by Telex.

Made some belting changes to the Archive Editor. It now supports CRC checking, so you know when a page is 100% accurate; there's a spell checker to whip though text errors quickly; and it will suggest a change to get you to the CRC value if you're stuck! https://www.teletextarchive.com #teletext

Mistigram: #CountBinface, since making the revival of Ceefax one of his campaign pledges, has been beloved of the #teletext community, and they were prepared to endorse him this summer as he ran as the protest candidate against Nigel Farage in the parliamentary constituency of Clacton.

A dread space emperor wearing a garbage can as a sinister helmet poses nobly in two-tone Shepard Fairey propaganda style.

Mistigram: like the groundhog emerging from his storied hole, everyone is excited to once again catch a rare glimpse of #MitchMcConnell's profoundly furrowed neck, here illustrated in #teletext by @atonalosprey for reasons that can only be chalked up to the stark randomness of the Muse.
