Swordtember 2026: 09-Fractal

This unique weapon is the result of a mistake by an enchanters apprentice. They were supposed to practice a simple replication spell on a weapon, but only seemed to replicate the cutting edge.

A black hilt shaped emitter with a red crystal in the center and two rectangular prongs on either side. the prongs have an additional rounded silver spike on each side. A series of capsule shaped indicator lights are on the side of the crosspiece going from red to green. The actual grip is a cylinder inset with a maze like pattern in silver before flaring out into the butt cap with a ring of copper around it. The 'blade' is a semi transparent dark field with purple particles rushing towards it's center. The background is a maze of small green circles on black.

Inevitability:
A cursed claymore that subjects all struck by it to an accelerated form of the rot afflicting the blade.

No matter how much of the sword rots away it still cuts with its full length and weight.
