In the field near my house is a boy with #stormy blue eyes, who grins and skips away into the rising wind.
"Zeus," says my aunt.
"He looked a little young to be Zeus."
"It's a little storm. Still, we'd better get inside."

Stormy existence
Heart like a lighthouse shining
Hope and despair mixed

Frantic moths patter their wings against the street lamp.

In those stormy times I was not much different. At least they get to glow for a moment.

But today I choose to embark on a new path. Whether the Furies follow is up to them.

To #commence & #sustain #cartooning, I had How to Draw #Comics the #Marvel Way to #explore, paving a #conflict of interest led by 1980s self-published #comix, until @scottmccloud.bsky.social #published Understanding Comics, a less #stormy tract urging me to #embark into #esoterica.

Welcome back to the Annual Pan-galatic Punk Picnic everyone! Today we have bbq from the Deitius Climatus System, Bob!
Ko'l, I'm excited about the lightning burgers!
Me too! But with Zeus and Thor competing it's sure to be--
No, don't say it.
--a #stormy situation!

Ah, to drown your love sorrows with your favourite booze, as #Stormy Weather plays in the background and the rain comes pouring down outside.

You know you'll end up out there, and finally arrive home drenched and feeling miserable.

Unless, of course, you pass out at the bar first.

#vss365 It was a dark & #stormy night. A night not fit for man or beast. Which was fine, for she, an unearthly night creature was neither. Cloaked in thunder & freezing rain, windows rattled as they were peppered with ice. Her cold howls made streetlamps flicker & die. This night belonged to her.

To #commence & #sustain #cartooning, I had to explore How to Draw #Comics the #Marvel Way, leaving me a #conflict of interest influenced by 1980s self-published #comix, until @scottmccloud.bsky.social published Understanding Comics, a less #stormy tract leading me to #embark into #esoterica.

an abyss meeting an abyss
that's how it #commences

we are two galaxies full of unexplored wonders
that #marvel at each other

how do we #embark on this journey into the unknown

we can't avoid #stormy days
& #conflicts are bound to arise

only love can #sustain this dance & make it eternal

When should children be told
They've embarked on a journey
That is an adventure
But also a trauma
A web of intentions
A mad man’s vision
Sometimes we bleed
How young is too young
To teach them to love
But also tell them
There will be stormy times
That force them toward hate

Dark #stormy days are made
for blanket forts and cinnamon,
and cosy afternoons spent
sheltered in each other’s arms,
and hot spiced teas
and bad movies
and puzzles that take far too long.

Fingers of Autumn caress
Summer growth to sleep,
and we nestle in close,
ready for Winter’s creep

Let it storm!

will you love me
under a #stormy sky
when my leaves shiver
and my words
become muted
as I slowly #commence
to moan with the wind

bare I stand
spreading my branches
from east to west
amid this serenity
that is a little too blissful
to trust
