A former captain of the Palestinian national women's team held without charge or trial and the Irish national men's team is going to play apartheid Israel? The FAI must boycott these games. #StopTheGames

Dara O’Shea should pass this article around to his team mates during tomorrow’s meeting #StopTheGames

Yes Kevin Kilbane, this is a historic opportunity for the FAI to show leadership, stand with the Palestinian people and luve up to Ireland’s proud legacy of resistance to apartheid. There is still time to boycott the Nations League games against genocidal Israel. #StopTheGames

The FAI and all workers must pull out of the games against apartheid Israel. This is the moment to stand with Palestine, to be on the right side of history. #StopTheGames

There is still time for the FAI to get on the right side of history, refuse to cross the Palestinian picket line and boycott the Nations League fixtures against apartheid Israel. Failing that, please join us at the Aviva Stadium from 6.30pm on October 1st for the Austria game. #StopTheGames

Why is the FAI worried about an unknown, likely exaggerated, punishment from UEFA for doing the right thing and yet the Israeli FA can throw out lies, insults and threats with no consequences? It is unthinkable that Ireland fulfils these games, the FAI must boycott, it's not too late #StopTheGames

Great article by Kevin Kilbane #stopthegames

“A boycott would have positively rebranded the association, closed the book on the John Delaney era and all the reputational damage done by those years. It would have showed it to be a robust Irish sporting organisation with a moral compass”

Excellent article. The FAI should show leadership, stand with the Palestinian people as they try to survive genocide, and refuse to play apartheid Israel. #StopTheGames

Strong letter in yesterday's Irish Times, there is still time for the FAI to refuse to play the Nations League fixtures against apartheid Israel, we cannot participate in the sportswashing of its genocide of Palestinians. #StopTheGames

Joanna Byrne, TD Sinn Féin, speaking at our protest at the Department of Sport last week where we handed in a letter demanding that Ireland boycotts the Nations League fixtures against apartheid Israel. The FAI must not cross the Palestinian picket line. #StopTheGames

Enough talking, the FAI still has time to get on the right side of history, refuse to cross the Palestinian picket line, and boycott the Nations League fixtures against apartheid Israel. This is an opportunity to show courage and leadership, to make us proud, they must take it. #StopTheGames

The Irish squad for the Nations League window was announced today. There is still time for the FAI to get onto the right side of history and cancel the games against apartheid Israel. Until then we plan to be at the Aviva 1st October to stand with Palestine, join us. #StopTheGames

Ireland are set to play Israel – which means we have already lost

Everything about these games shows how wrong it is that they are going ahead. The home game can't be played here, Irish fans aren't allowed to attend either match, and RTÉ workers and other journalists want no part in them. The message to the FAI is clear, they must #StopTheGames
