#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Enterprise Episode 97 - Terra Prime - 13 May 2005

Second of the Terra Prime story, and the "effective" last episode of Enterprise. After much consternation, Archer ends up defeating Paxton and Terra Prime, bringing an end to his xenophobic threat to kill people. Weller

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Enterprise Episode 96 - Demons - 6 May 2005

First of an excellent two parter that pays off the "Humans only" stuff from earlier in the season. Sadly, too much of our current life in 2026 can be seen in this one. That bothers me. Peter Weller (Robocop!) is here, and he's

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Enterprise Episode 95 - In a Mirror Darkly Pt II - 29 Apr 2005

SO much fun. Archer and his boarding party take control of the Defiant and roam around the Mirror Universe after the Enterprise was destroyed. SO MANY easter eggs for TOS. We finally get to see what's at the

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Enterprise Episode 94 - In a Mirror Darkly - 22 Apr 2005

This is glorious. It's easily my most rewatched of Enterprise. It's a two parter set in the Mirror Universe. They commit to that so much that they change the theme and titles to the show. It's a simultaneous sequel

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Enterprise Episode 93 - Bound - 15 Apr 2005

The Orions are back - this time we dig into what the Orion Slave Girls are all about. They're apparently more than just someone to ogle. I mean Susan Oliver & Yvonne Craig were super nice to look at, but no character as such.

Realized today that I'm nearing the end of Enterprise in my #StarTrekMarathon. Thought I'd take a moment to say what my plans are. Enterprise will finish next Friday.

After that I'm going to do the 3 JJ Abrams films, and then onto Star Trek Discovery. After Discovery, I'm doing Short Treks,

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Enterprise Episode 92 - Divergence - 25 Feb 2005

Pt 2 of the "Why the TOS Klingons look that way" story. I have to say I always had this filed in my brain as good, but I enjoyed it EVEN more this time around. Was excellent. I especially loved Phlox and the discussions

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Enterprise Episode 91 - Affliction - 18 Feb 2005

This is the one that gives us an in-universe reason why the Klingons of TOS didn't look like the ones from the movies and forward. There was a joke about it in the DS9 Tribble ep, but this canonizes a reason. The Klingons

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Enterprise Episode 90 - The Aenar - 11 Feb 2005

Last of the Andorian arc. We make it to Andoria and learn about another of their species - the Aenar. They basically look like albino Andorians. Archer & Shran explore the ice caves on Andoria looking for Aenar, trying to

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Enterprise Episode 89 - United - 4 Feb 2005

Second of a 3 part Andorian arc. I've said many times I love Shran, but this is probably my FAV Shran ep of all of them. His mate dies, and a ritualistic combat happens to claim vengeance. Of course Archer steps in the middle

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Enterprise Episode 88 - Babel One - 28 Jan 2005

First of a 3 part Andorian arc. It starts off with Enterprise shuttling Tellarites to a peace conference on Babel. But it's the first of three eps in a row with Shran - which is ALWAYS a good time. Taking Tellarites and

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Enterprise Episode 87 - Observer Effect - 21 Jan 2005

A bottle ep, as only the main cast appear - there's zero guest stars. It's a meh ep, although Hoshi got some good character dev. Another of those "Hey, aliens are going to take over our crew to see how they behave"

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Enterprise Episode 86 - Deadalus - 14 Jan 2005

One with a good base concept (let's do a story about the guy who invented the transporter). In execution, it wasn't the best. It's not exactly bad as such, but the story didn't hold me. Partially because it feels like a few

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Enterprise Episode 85 - Kir'Shara - 3 Dec 2004

3/3 of the Vulcan arc. An excellent finale to an excellent story. We have the warmonger Vulcans determined to eliminate Archer and the Syrannites plus start a war with Andoria (Hello Shran again!). Archer manages to save the

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Enterprise Episode 84 - Awakening - 26 Nov 2004

2/3 of the Vulcan arc. I always had this story in a good place in my mind, but this viewing - it's even better. We spend a LOT of time with Vulcan culture. The leftover from Pt 1 is Archer has the katra of a dying Vulcan in

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Enterprise Episode 83 - The Forge - 19 Nov 2004

The first in a 3 part Vulcan arc. It starts with an embassy being bombed killing several, including recurring character Admiral Forrest. This one digs into Vulcan lore a lot, and we touch a little on the thing fans say..

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Enterprise Episode 82 - The Augments - 12 Nov 2004

The conclusion to the Soong/Augment trilogy. Of course our guys win out in the end, that was expected. I VERY much enjoyed Brent Spiner in these three eps. His augments, not so much. The leader here felt like Temu Khan,

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Enterprise Episode 81 - Cold Station 12 - 5 Nov 2004

The second of a 3 ep arc about Arik Soong and his genetically engineered augments. Excellent ep. This one focuses most on Spiner's Soong and his parental relationship with them. They go to a medical research station

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Enterprise Episode 80 - Borderland - 29 Oct 2004

The first of a 3 ep arc about Arik Soong and augments (hello Brent Spiner!). The augments attack a Klingon ship, dump the crew into space, and steal the ship. The Klingons are threatening a war and Enterprise has to bring

#Allstartrek #StarTrekMarathon
We saw Ben Finney crack up when he couldn't take the serious responsibility of fleet service. We saw Dr. Janice Lester crack up due to sexism and unrealistic expectations of fleet service.

So is StarFleet really just toxic stew? Only hardass chauvinists can survive?
