@gregmorosoff.bsky.socialWelcome to Sorcerer's Caturday Night Playlist
Tonight?
Just another eclectic mix of whatever I might think of
\I'll start with one I lived
y daughter still loves this song; and, has seen them more than once
I'll send ya more than 5 bucks baby
@gregmorosoff.bsky.socialSpooktober song of the day.
There are a fuck ton more than just 13
Be witchy Blue ones.
Tune in for my 10pm Caturday Night playlist of 10 songs.
Maybe more.
10pm PST every Caturday night.
Ya never know, you might like something I play. 😜
@gregmorosoff.bsky.socialSong of the night.
I used to crank this, while doing 140mph, on the highways of the West Coast.
Crank this one up for Spooktober
If you don't know this band, your welcome.
@gregmorosoff.bsky.socialSometimes...
That's all there is.
(This is my favorite version)
Just keep dancing, even with fists clenched and tears streaming.
@gregmorosoff.bsky.socialThis is a long song, with some great instrumental work.
If you don't know the band, they are worth browsing through.
And c'mon, great band name.
@gregmorosoff.bsky.socialI've said that there are only a couple songs by them that I like.
This is guilty pleasure #2
Another one I can let loop a few times
They do put on a good live show; and damn, I do like her voice; and, I do really like some of the lyrics.
@gregmorosoff.bsky.socialI just had to include something Spooky Cool from PJ.
This one definitively fits.
Another one I can let loop 5 or 6 times.
Polly Jean defies genres.
@gregmorosoff.bsky.socialUndoubtedly, my favorite FNM song; and, they have plenty of great songs.
This is another I can let loop for half an hour.
"It's your last cup of sorrow
What can you say?
Finish it today
It's your last cup of sorrow"
@gregmorosoff.bsky.socialI used to say, way back, that if Gavin and Gwen broke up, it would be the start of the apocalypse.
Ask Penny.
They broke up in Aug, '15, over Gavin doing the nanny; which somehow, seems appropriate to what was to come in the world.
@gregmorosoff.bsky.socialThere are times when a performer becomes a legend, even if only for one song.
This is Gavin's performance.
All alone in the rain.
@gregmorosoff.bsky.socialAnother blast from what seems like a distant past.
1978
They were labeled as punk; but, I say New Wave-ish.
Still a great song.
@gregmorosoff.bsky.socialI haven't played much that is truly New Wave; so, I thought I'd bring back an oldie from '79.
This one just popped into my head. 😜
Joe Jackson did have some great B-Side stuff also.
@gregmorosoff.bsky.socialYeah. I've got a gut feeling also.
I just not sure what it is from.
This performance by Mark Mothersbaugh and Devo is legendary.
Mothersbaugh is so in the moment.
This is one I can let loop for half an hour, or more.
@gregmorosoff.bsky.socialThis one is a lot more personal, not just for me, than any soundtrack or video game used it for.
@gregmorosoff.bsky.socialA truly eclectic little playlist for Caturday Night.
10pm PST. Every Caturday Night.
A few I just wanted to play; and a few that I could let loop for half an hour.
I'll start this off with an oldie...
Just because it's still a good song.
1975
@gregmorosoff.bsky.socialAnother Caturday Night Playlist coming up at 10pm PST.
10 songs, for your listening pleasure...
I hope. 😜
Tune in; or... don't
@gregmorosoff.bsky.socialThanks for listening to my little commentaries; and, the songs I pick.
Every Caturday Night at 10pm PST, I'll do another 10 songs.
I hope you liked at least one of them.
~Sorcerer~
@gregmorosoff.bsky.socialPossibly one the the greatest covers of all time.
The Gilmour version is great; but, depressing and somewhat cynical.
This version doesn't give in to that. It balls it's fists.
Be the coyote. Never give in, even when you want to.
@gregmorosoff.bsky.socialIt isn't about waking up. It's about opening that one good eye.
Don't let your third eye be blind.
@gregmorosoff.bsky.socialProbably my favorite, of all their songs.
I do love the lyrics in this one.
"Oh, maybe I'm a life time soldier never dying, never gettin' older
Maybe I'm a life time soldier lost along the way"
