For me it was the difference in tone of Ashley after the excerpt was played. It was less enthusiastic and a bit more mellow sounding, to me. It made me kind of sit up and listen to what she was saying even more in depth than usual. #hwa3 #sonicmeaning

when listening to the short excerpt from the book the shift in background noise was very intentional and telling. it shifted the moods before the words had caught up and made me become hyper aware of each passing word. #hwa3 #sonicmeaning

#hwa3 #sonicmeaning I think the whole r/Real thing kinda through me in a loop. Made me question what does being real even mean to me

The part that felt the most meaningful to me was Kanye's interpolation of the second song. The original sounded pretty innocent and cute at first, but once Kanye worked it into his track, it felt like he kind of twisted it into something else entirely #hwa3 #sonicmeaning

#hwa3 #sonicmeaning There was a part where we were talking about deeper meaning where Ashley's voice had a slow down effect which caught me by surprise and made me definitely perk up to see if maybe I had missed something, but showed the effect that deeper meant slow and thorough

Kanye uses the sample in a song about relationships where money and status can be part of the motivation. Hearing the sample in a new context made the message feel completely different. #hwa3 #sonicmeaning

While listening to the music, I had to listen to my internal experience. I had to navigate complex values #hwa3 #sonicmeaning

During a story about a story when her voice had started to become very low and tremble when she described the part she had forgotten had made it feel so real. It was unsettling to hear it, and the way she had sounded combined with the background music made this moment feel real. #hwa3 #sonicmeaning

I think when the lady was telling the story in the beginning, the music was very ominous and weird so i thought something horrible was going to happen but it was all lighthearted and about recovery, untils she told us about the cryingand screaming. #hwa3 #sonicmeaning

I think the music in the background in Story about a Story helped me understand her words and helped me listen better because of how serious it made it seem. #hwa3 #sonicmeaning

I think the background sounds and shifts in Story About a Atory prompted the concept of deep listening. It made me to focus on the voice, which was really eerie. Instead of listening to the actual words being said, the tone made me realize this was more serious than his back.
