@cpellis-writer.bsky.socialAgain, I was surprised to get two chapters edited yesterday!
This week has been, and still is, very busy and so I was prepared to (at most!) edit one chapter a day, but two out of three days I’ve gotten two done!
We’ll just have to see what I manage to do today!

@cpellis-writer.bsky.socialSurprisingly, I managed to edit two chapters yesterday!
I’d thought I’d get one done, if that, since I had an otherwise busy day, so I’m really happy with my progress!
@cpellis-writer.bsky.socialOnly got one chapter edited (or, well, written since it was new 😅) yesterday, but I made a lot of notes about the new plotline I’m adding.
So overall, yesterday was pretty productive!
@cpellis-writer.bsky.socialYesterday’s editing went really well!
I added (another) new scene, split a chapter in two and edited both halves, so I technically edited two chapters!
Hoping to get at least one chapter edited today, but I might push for two again, considering how busy next week is looking
@cpellis-writer.bsky.socialYesterday’s plan for today:
- Get up early to socialise
- Rush home to cram in some editing
- MAYBE play games
The plan is now:
- No pressure to do anything
- Slowly edit
- Definately play games
That seems like a MUCH better plan, considering how tired I am.
@cpellis-writer.bsky.socialYesterday I only ended up editing one chapter, but I skimmed through the next chapter and made notes on a new scene I’ll need to write.
Unfortunately, I’ll have to wait until Saturday afternoon to do any more editing 😅😭
@cpellis-writer.bsky.socialToday the plan is to edit, and possibly read as well if I have time before playing games with friends this evening.
My goal is to get at least one chapter done today, but I don’t think getting two done would be too out there. 🤔
@poisonbonbons.bsky.social
@cpellis-writer.bsky.socialYesterday was pretty productive! Split one chapter into two, edited one of them, including writing a whole new scene!
Plan for today is to edit that other ‘half’ of the split chapter
@cpellis-writer.bsky.socialToday I’ve got nothing else planned but editing!
I’m hoping to get one, maybe two chapters done today. As the week goes on I just get busier and busier so I want to do as much editing done in these first few days of the week as I reasonably can.
@cpellis-writer.bsky.socialToday the plan is to spend the morning editing before settling down to play games with friends this afternoon! Should be a pretty good day!
I miiight squeeze in some reading if I have time, but we’ll see how things go.
@force341.bsky.socialWriters, can you tell English isn’t my first language? 😭
I’m Vietnamese and trying to rewrite my fiction in English while keeping the original voice. Does this read naturally, or is there anything that immediately feels off/non-native?
Feel free to be picky 😂 #amwriting #skywriter
@cpellis-writer.bsky.socialDoes it count as editing two chapters when I split one long chapter into two and add a scene?
Whether it does or not, I had a productive day yesterday!
@cpellis-writer.bsky.socialGot a busy weekend ahead of me, so today I plan to really focus on editing.
Today I’m hoping to get one, or maybe two chapters done, be starting on Chapter Eight.
@cpellis-writer.bsky.socialI ended up having a day mostly off from editing yesterday. I say mostly, as I did finish the chapter I didn’t finish on Tuesday, but I didn’t start the next one.
Instead, I spent the day playing games and watching films. It was a very nice break

@cpellis-writer.bsky.socialI didn’t quite finish editing the chapter I was on yesterday, but I have plenty time to get back to it today. I’m hoping to finish that chapter, and do one more as well.
I’m also seeing friends this evening, which should be a nice litte break!
@cpellis-writer.bsky.socialI feel like I’ve settled into quite a good routine with editing, reading and playing games.
I’m somehow feeling more productive, busy and relaxed than I have in a long while! 😅
@cpellis-writer.bsky.socialI can’t believe I edited three chapters yesterday!! 😮😅😂
Today I’ll only get one done as I have a busy morning, but things do all seem to be going quite smoothly!
