Today I was planning my first lecture of the year (which will likely be a basis for lots of other things). Much floundering as I try to work out what to keep and what to change. But I went from feeling overwhelmed to quite excited for the busy autumn term #SeptemberStrengths #Day10

This evening I managed to get my son to try reading a book I’ve thought for ages he would like, Some Desperate Glory by Emily Tesh. Despite resisting telling him about the big deal thing halfway thru. It’s early days but I think he’s into it! #SeptemberStrengths #Day9 I might be ready for a reread…

Today I made myself go & ask at Boots about my weirdly swollen eye, & came away with antibiotic drops. Relieved I didn’t let the infection get worse. Hopefully my face will look a bit more symmetrical again in the next few days. & I’m enjoying doing the drops every 2 hours! #SeptemberStrengths #Day8

Today was my children’s first full day of school and college. It has been wonderful to hear all the details throughout this evening. A good day I think. #SeptemberStrengths #Day7

Yesterday I discovered a picture in a wall, completely by chance, that was hugely relevant to the whole purpose for why we were where we were. A wonderful find. #SeptemberStrengths #Day6

Today has been a day away, much of being able to choose what to do, and meals being made for me. I’ve read my books, pottered on my phone, dealt with a bit of admin with my husband re important upcoming stuff, wondered round the shops. A nice low key day #SeptemberStrengths #Day5
