An Ogre with a large club stands blocking the way over a moss covered stone bridge above a raging torrent. A small goat followed by a larger one attempting to cross speak to him while in the background unseen by the ogre is an even larger goat in a purple haze of odour, flies and strength muscling its way down the mountain gully to follow its fellows. The goat says "Deary me you can see I’ve little in the way of food on my small bones. You would be better waiting on the fellow behind us. More sturdy by far to swell your stomach."

Two men at a dry stone wall are looking across the landscape at a distant woodland while in the tree above a collection of muscular winged green fairies with enormous left hands lurk in the foliage. "That’s smack wood down there – we are not going near it. It’s full of nests of the smack fairies which have hands as big as shovels that’ll smack you into next week and back again. It’s no laughing matter my boy as you can see by my ears which are still ringing by the way."
