'Saturday Morning Music' forms a key part of 'Saturday Morning Evening', and we really enjoyed putting it together - although it did take a few weeks!

We'll post a standalone version tomorrow - well worth a look even if we say so ourselves!

To everyone who has worked behind the scenes and in front of the cameras on our favourite BBC Saturday morning programmes across the last fifty years...
#saturdaymornings

We'll be back around 7pm to launch 'Saturday Morning Evening'.

Thanks for joining us to celebrate 50 years of BBC Saturday morning television.

I'm a week late but #RIP Dennis Haskins. I looped this 5 times because the words saved by the bell are repeated 5 times in the theme song.

Here's the 50th anniversary version of our Titles Mega Mix.

Here's a montage of lunacy from the Leprechauns from their first appearance to the end of the third series of Live & Kicking.
#saturdaymornings

Towards the end of the first series of Live & Kicking a feature was 'accidentally' created where Emma was challenged to say the phone number in a different language each week showing off her amazing linguistic skills.

Here's our Foreign Phone Number mega mix of all nine languages!

Noel gets out of TC7 and pays a visit to TC6 where Little & Large are recording their show and also drops in on wardrobe and make-up.

It's business as normal for The Singing Corner on the 4 November 1989 edition of Going Live! when Barbara Windsor (and not the Queen) joins Don and Bob for a song.

One of our best and favourite finds!

This is Noel recording the opening (and unused ending) for 'Multi-Coloured Saturdays' during the broadcast of Live & Kicking on 23 March 1996 (when Electric Circus was being shown).

** Multi-Coloured Saturdays is on BBC FOUR tomorrow at 7:30pm

These are the opening few minutes of Live & Kicking from 21 September 1996, the first programme of series 4 when Zoe and Jamie took over presenting duties.

We've also included around a minute of pre-broadcast footage - does anyone look nervous?

Here's Noel trying to record a Friday trailer for Swap Shop, but he's not helped out by some dodgy camera work!

His quick thinking turns the whole thing into a classic outtake.

What don't we do? WE DON'T DO DUVETS!

Here's our mega mix...
#saturdaymornings

We'll be revisiting some of our favourite social media posts as we continue our celebration of 50 years of BBC Saturday morning television.

To start, here's the L&K theme Mega Mix we put together.
#saturdaymornings

We originally planned to use a different video for the first post to open our day of celebration, but changed our minds a few days ago to use a much shorter, simpler video with just programme logos and include the summer/other shows.

So, rather than waste it here it is.

It’s a Swap Shop sort of day today…
