Days lie exposed—
back and bare limbs
catch chill from sun’s repose.
And the #sanguine leaves
arrive with giddy crackling laughs, beady eyes.
Soon they will be let go
to rot on the pathway’s rainbow.
The #autumnal arrow
rests in its quiver;
clear shot, a matter of time and temperature.

After the Monday morning broken coffee maker
The heat of a summer not quite broken into fall
Angry emails, question emails, pointless emails
Meetings that could have been emails
He cranks the radio for the long commute
And points his car square into the #sanguine sunset

#Sanguine swans on the mirror-flat water. Everything is reflected, their arching necks, the fall of leaves, the sigh of clouds against a biting blue sky.
It looks the same, but I know it's a place more real than real, where colors are more vivid and dreams are true.

a thoughtful, #sanguine mum
quietly gave paints and
a large, watercolour art book
to her teenage daughter
in the cancer ward

My hope-filled heart swims
in the promise of #sanguine sunsets
and the future of tomorrow
and what its rise may bring.

She was a nice girl. #Sanguine, even.

But.

"To catch a monster, you need a monster."

They trained her too well.

Now the #tainted Vampire Slayer hates her #hunger with easier, bloodier prey.

They're training a Vampire Slayer *Slayer* now.

What could go wrong?

The Landican sleeps,
Crow's feathers block
The Churches sinks

Lily,
Another life,
A million miles away
Let's say.

Burrows,
Ready for
Winters close
As
Spring's sanguine
Fills feral dreams
Of Spring's
New leaf

Lily's Owl,
Waits in
Undergrowth
#vss365 #sanguine
Crow's view of the Landican.

Bodies sanguine
moonlit moaning
fist wrapped
in silken strands

Amongst
The halls
Garnished
In regal
Masterpieces,

Hidden as
The changing,
Calming
Sanguine lands
And
The passing
Heads of
The Kings
And
The Queens
Marked death
In time,

The Phoniex
Sat high
A shelf forgot
In soldier
And case

Her black heart,
Trapped
And
Long time forgot

The blood pumping
Through my veins

#Sanguine

The synapses
Firing in my brain

Sanguine

The good habits that keep us alive
The hope that helps us to thrive

I’m healthy
In some important ways
There are joyful things
That get me through the day

And done. Showered and refreshed. Feeling more alive again. #vss365 #haiku

Ready for the new
#sanguine peace fills the heartbeat
Come and release it

"I couldn't resist her #sanguine temperament. I just couldn't. How could I? After all, I'm a vampire, am I not?"

"We're facing certain death at the hands, well, I guess claws of these giant killer teddy bears and you're looking pretty #sanguine, Riz," I said.
"I know rite? Things are fukin terrible, but fer once, fer bloody once, itz not ma fault!"
"Don't rub it in."
