I’m thinking:

#Reset for a short thriller
#MysteriousLotusCasebook for wuxia/action/mystery
#TheDouble for a glamorous historical revenge
#LoveOfTheDivineTree for fantasy
#PursuitOfJade or #WonderlandOfLove for historical adventure/romance

What do you think? 🙂 (also asking @tinacmml.bsky.social)

Yes, I think #Reset is probably one of the safest recommendations too - short, gripping & very accessible 👍

I would pretty much always go with #Reset. People not used to Asian dramas can be put off by the number of episodes, and giving them costumes straight away is also a harder sell in my view. #Reset cuts through many stereotypes of what China or a Chinese drama are like for people who aren’t familiar.

Turning MaeMae’s question in a slightly different geographical direction: if you had a friend completely new to cdramas, which accessible but genuinely good #cdrama would you recommend as a starting point? 🤔

Eg #PursuitOfJade, #Reset, #WhenIFlyTowardsYou & #LoveOfTheDivineTree?

After a long weekend glued to my phone, it's time for a reset! Here's how.

When does a #goal to produce a #masterpiece every time interfere with growing as an #artist? When this #painter’s year-end self-analysis yielded a shocking result, she decided a #reset is needed. #artwork #philosophy #WOMENSART

Seeing talk on X that Korea is planning a remake of #Reset. No thanks, just watch the original, it's PEAK! #cdrama
