I know that #Reply1988 is supposed to be a comedy, and yet Deok-sun's exaggerated reactions diminish her pain and suffering, and im not sure that's always necessary. I wish for more quietness sometimes, though there are scenes that deliver the pain with stark clarity

Rewatching #Reply1988 makes me realise that Choi Taek really is the man for Doek-sun. He plays along with her, he looks at her, he is brave in his liking. Jung Hwan not so much. And this is so funny bc the reason i dropped the show in the first place was bc ifound out she ends up with Choi Taek +
