The Eastern Cherokee and Yuchi peoples which loosely encompasses Eastern Tennessee and Western North Carolina (for my story, not their precise boundaries).

So in Tales Of Emor, the pre-conflagration world was very cosmopolitan. In the roughly 1,000 years since, anyone from one of Emor's Principalities is an Emorian. Solasce, the Shamans, and the "Barbarians" (who aren't necessarily that) are all initially outsiders.
Happy Indigenous People’s Day!
DEAD BEATS is a coast-to-coast adventure all across the United States, so my answer would be the many beautiful cultures of Indigenous people right here in North America.
Fuck Christopher Columbus and fuck colonialism!

#TY4LM is set in/near the very fictional town of Playa Clara in the very real US state of Florida, south of Miami. The indigenous people specific to the southeastern coast of Florida are called the Tequesta, which you can read more about here:

So, technically the only species in the Alliance actually endemic to the world are the Dragons and *maybe* the dwarves (no one, not even the dwarves, are entirely sure of their origins).
The Elves came from the spaces between.
Humans and Wyldkin came from a few different worlds.
Raven & Bear actually takes place in Wales!
A post-apocalyptic Wales, six centuries after a nuclear war...
So... the Welsh? However, what does it mean to be Welsh. Welsh... a Saxon phrase for the foreign. Cymry... for we are countrymen.

The Hawk Clan and the Raven Clan are indigenous to the plains of Seyzharel and the surrounding areas. The dragonfolk arrived later.

#QueerPrompts October 12: Indigenous People's Day: What people would be indigenous to where your story takes place?
Seikhiel explains to Rahi that he doesn’t experience attraction.
Tempest, on the other hand, does not tell Akieryon he’s aro*. All his friends are lining up to do it for him.
*not the actual word they use

#QueerPrompts Coming out?
Yes! In both of them.
For A Work of Art, Jenn is questioning. She still hasn't selected her label at the end of the novella, but she does know she wants a relationship with her model, another woman.
For Handled, Seth takes a job as a sex worker, and has his bi awakening.

Bethany comes out (to herself at first) as bisexual in the middle of the story.... when she consentingly dances with both the Fairy King of the Wilds & the Fairy Queen of the Hunt, on a May Day night
Yes and no. Like they come out about their relationships, but not their sexuality.
Sexual preference isn't really a big deal (most of the time) in VOS but gender identity is a little stricter.
Lu is gay and gender-fluid, but his boyfriend Sorrel was at university or otherwise missed big events in the castle so he never got to see Lu being feminine. Something Lu ⬇️
#QueerPrompts Several characters come out in The Witch of Eden Hollow.
Avery came out as gay to his dad and his brothers.
In turn, Avery's dad came out as bi!
Sterling had been stealth as a trans man out of fear, but he learned to embrace that part of himself and come out to the people he trusts.
I guess the closest instance is Adelaide. She comes from a planet with legally enforced heteronormativity, but pings every spacer's gaydar. like immediately.
Actually, no. All my queer characters are already out and it’s treated as normal. #QueerPrompts

I have a couple of coming out flashbacks written for Devoted; one for when Seth realizes he's a man and one for when Devross accepts that he's gay.
In Something Unseen Sown, Duvall has to constantly come out, because he keeps meeting new people and he doesn't "pass".
#QueerPrompts
In my current crime WIP, kind of. Eric has already found out stuff about Nate before they meet and he just casually offers Nate a fuck date later, so that's his coming out.
#QueerPrompts In #S3, Elena kind of does? Not so much as an orientation come-out, but she confesses feelings for Rebecca.
Same with Phoebe in #YP.
#TFTNG - Cypress comes out at nonbinary in Lemon Balm, and Acanthus has a convo about their identity in Aloe, but there are no broad sweeping moments.
My characters don't really come out.
Ata crushes on girls in several stories. Sir Corbyn sleeps with a polycule in The Lake Hopper and talks about his own periods in The Eisteddfod when Ata gets her first. Raven & Bear is queer normative.
