A beautiful day at my family reunion in Estes Park, CO. I took a hike with my cousins, Dane and Brian. Then my amazing cousin, Melissa, prepared a taco bar feast! The aspens are turning yellow, and the sky is blue.

I'm in beautiful Estes Park at a family reunion hosted by my cousin, Susan! So much fun. We saw that big elk on our way in!

I am headed out the door to the post office with a whole cart load of advance reader copies of The Turnip House going to editors to review. So exciting!

More from my library tour! The chairs and troll are from Detroit Lakes. The center photo was taken at the Lake Park City Hall, where we had a surprisingly great turnout for a town of 700 souls!

Here I am, watching the audience in Moorhead, MN, file in before my second presentation today. Two days, four presentations. Two more days and four more libraries to go!

A few views from my new digs in beautiful Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. My little motel has a view of the lake and a very complete kitchen. I think it will be an excellent base camp for a week of presentations!

And the show went on! It was a wonderful premiere. Big thanks to the folks at the St. Croix Festival Theatre for hosting.
