Each "Summer's End" album takes place in its own unique timeline and universe, and different versions of the same characters will sometimes appear across multiple stories.

Maranatha Crane as she appears in "Summer's End III" (2022) - a white-haired woman dressed in black, and armed with a really big gun. She is directly descended from Ichabod Crane, and her arch-nemesis is the Dullahan, a headless Lord of the Fae who appears in Wyrdham riding a motorcycle. Two different versions of Maranatha Crane meet each other in "Summer's End V" (2024): Maranatha the Warrior, and Maranatha the Writer. Maranatha the Warrior (left) is the same version of Maranatha that battled the Dullahan. She also leads the human resistance against CROM 9000, an artificial intelligence that has gone insane. Maranatha the Writer (right) is a fantasy novelist who dreams about Maranatha the Warrior's battles, and who writes them as novels. She has no idea that Maranatha the Warrior is actually real until the Warrior shows up at her house, asking for her help against CROM 9000.

Wyrdham is also built over an interdimensional "nexus," where multiple alternate universes converge with each other each year on October 31.

Wyrdham was founded by a coven of witches back in American colonial times, and the community continues to be predominantly Pagan today.
