Here's a photo from back in June when I camped at Assateague State Park. I woke up before dawn (unusual), so I figured I may as well see the sun rise on the Atlantic Ocean.

Apparently, things are only getting worse at Mt. Rainier. This is just horrifying. I have never seen MRNP so mobbed as it is this year

At this point, they should just close the park entirely. There are just too many people, and the park is severely understaffed.

Cuyahoga National Park has a scenic train you can catch in Akron and ride into the park. You can even bring your bicycle. #parkchat

We haven't traveled to a national park by train, but we've been to some train-themed parks, including
Pullman NHP in Chicago, and
Golden Spike NHP in UT. Golden Spike has an annual anniversary event with locomotive arrivals (Jupiter and No. 119), music & living history reenactments. 🚂 #ParkChat

I have not traveled *to* a National Park (or other park) *by* train, but earlier this year, I traveled to an NPS site to *see* a train! And I also road a train at that same site, back in 2017, along with the #404Family on our way to Acadia. #ParkChat

Has anyone ever travelled to a Park by train? It used to be common. We haven’t except for overseas. We’re working on something.

I guess whether it gets signed depends on if there is something in that area that could be plundered by oligarchs. Hopefully it passes. Nowadays, since National Parks are determined by Congress, it might be safer for the public land to be a NP vs a NM. #ParkChat

This weekend we finally scheduled our trip to America’s 63rd National Park known as “Indiana Dunes NP”. We are planning to arrive on 4/21/27 completing our years long journey to visit all of them.
