Oregon has voted by mail for 25 years, under both Democrat and Republican administrations.

Despite Trump’s attempts to interfere in mail-in voting, the Supreme Court made it clear: there will be no changes to mail-in voting this year. #orpol #oregonelections

There’s been a lot going in in the news this week about voting by mail. Here are three important things to know.

The bottom line: Oregonians will vote by mail as we always have this year, and we can be confident our elections will be safe, smooth, and accurate this year. #orpol #oregonelections

Voting by mail in 2026: 3 things to know
1.	The Supreme Court blocked Trump’s attempt to restrict delivery of mail ballots.
2.	Voting by mail will proceed this year as it always has.
3.	Oregon elections will be safe, secure, and accurate in November and beyond. The U.S. Supreme Court blocked Trump’s attempt to restrict delivery of mail ballots.

On Sept. 14, the Supreme Court blocked a US Postal Service rule implementing Trump’s efforts to interfere with vote-by-mail elections Voting by mail will proceed this year as it always has.

The Supreme Court’s order means voting by mail will happen as it always has: in Oregon, eligible voters will receive a ballot by mail and can return it via mail or to a drop box by 8pm on Election Day
Oregon elections will be safe, secure, and accurate in November and beyond.

The Constitution is clear: the federal government cannot interfere with our elections. Oregon voters can be confident that our elections will be safe, smooth, and accurate as they always have been.

Oregon will vote by mail this November. Tonight’s Supreme Court decision is an important victory for Oregon voters and the rule of law. Our secure, fair and accurate vote-by-mail system will go forward as it always does. Presidents don’t decide elections. The people do. #OrPol #OregonElections

Tonight, the U.S. Supreme Court rejected President Donald Trump’s attempt to restrict mail-in voting ahead of the 2026 midterm elections, blocking changes that would have caused major disruption just days before the first ballots are sent to Oregon voters. #OregonVotes #OregonElections #OrPol
