@stoneyashes.bsky.socialThe world didn't ask for an OoT remake Serenity design, but THEY'RE GETTING ONE ANYWAY APPARENTLY.
I had much fun with this and went down a rabbit hole on details. Now my hand hurts 😆

@necrodragon413.bsky.socialI hadn't quite made up my mind about the whole #OoTRemake visual style debate yet, partly because everyone talking about their opinions so binarily seemed to be putting me off watching it, but finding out this detail as to the INSPIRATION behind the visual style really helps contextualise it for me!
@astralcaught.bsky.socialGoing to see #coyotevsacme with my boyfriend who's recently after surgery, also going to be getting an #elgato #capturecard for #streaming the new #zelda #ootremake I'm looking forward to streaming again!
@maplebunbunny.bsky.socialI guess I'll be the first to mentioned it, at least that I've seen-
I am N O T looking forward to seeing this fucker in the OOT remake.
@misserichan.northsky.socialSpeaking as someone who's disappointed by the reveal of #OoTRemake, I 127% agree with this post. If you're excited, be excited. My criticisms of games are NEVER meant to diminish anyone's joy.

@speissautarr.bsky.socialDunno guys. I think the new #Zelda game looks great! #OcarinaofTime #LegendofZelda #OoTremake
@kozmicretro.bsky.socialStupid Nintendo making me want to give them almost $200 for games. How dare they!
I better get that foil cover! 🙃

@nekoshogun.mow.hausI'm gonna throw my 2 cents into this #OoTremake discourse. It's ugly. Like the world looks *good*, and it's obviously mechanically OoT. But the characters make me cringe. It's missing Zelda's visual identity. It's like someone copied the homework without understanding the assignment.
@kittyjupiter.bsky.socialmy take on the new remake Sheik design is that it's giving Final Fantasy vibes
...i do wish they kept the tan of the previous design tho, and worked it into an epic 7-year-training-session-sun-tan instead, versus Nico Robin-ing 'em lol

@kittyjupiter.bsky.socialgah… if they do a remake of the sequel in this style… i'm really done for. the environments alone… so shiny 😭🥹
i really don't wanna support the switch 2 with the whole 'not owning anything'… yet they do have my heart in a tight grip w/this 🫠
