get mad at me if you want, but I've really been using and testing it for a while now, and #omarchy is definitely not a successful system. It's very nice experimentally, but even if you get used to the keys, I really can't see the advantage.

Linus built Linux and still says he wouldn't wish that pain on anyone. One change breaks everything downstream. Someone's taking it on anyway, with a community and a team of agents behind them.
Microsoft's intelligent terminal gives an agent your terminal context. This goes further. The agent owns the full scope of the OS, so it's already there wherever you are.
The whole OS is built around never touching the mouse. Everything hangs off the power key, workspaces snap open fast, and yes, it runs VS Code.
Omarchy is Linux with an agent bolted into the operating system. Something breaks anywhere in the OS and you fire an issue straight to GitHub. Two skills ship with it to handle the rest.
Or is it a universal #AT #protocol #client ?

Omarchy Quattro is fantastic. Fast, polished, and a pleasure to use. The keybindings feel just right, and coding agents make it easy to customize the setup to my taste. #Omarchy #Linux

Hate the branding. Hate that it isn’t “your” Arch.
Good grief it looks polished though. And makes a bunch of stuff stupidly simple that everyone else still treats like a rite of passage.
I’ve been coming around to it. You can dunk and still admit the UX isn’t imaginary.
