We don't understand why, but Oka would ocasionally sit like this...
My sister would call it her "Monday Pose"!

Oka really loved to sleep on our couch, she would sleep on top of it every day when she'd wait for my sister to get home!

I don't want to talk about negative things regarding Oka's story too much, but I just wanted to say her previous owner before we got her was beyond terrible to her and were going to basically let her d*e if we didn't step up, so I hope they get what they deserve one day...

To start Oka loved everyone, but her bond with my sister was above any relationship I've ever seen a cat have with their owner. She almost loved her too much, the first couple of years she would freak out whenever my sister wasn't home!

Before March 7th we had a beautiful cat named Oka and it would've been her 11th birthday today... She means everything to me and we all miss her so much, I'd do anything to be able to see her again.

Like my sister always says: she is our shadow.
