@fd93.fosstodon.org.ap.brid.gySwitched back to Obsidian for a bit, but it felt slow so back in neovim. Turned out all I really needed to bridge the gap between the two experiences was to tweak my config a bit and install neotree:

The 0.12 version adds `v:starttime` (the process start time; monotonic nanoseconds) and `v:exitreason` (reason for exiting).
The 0.13 version will also add `v:startreason`.
