Three land alters I drew at Happy Hollow Park & Zoo 🐐

#mtgalters #mtgproxy #happyhollow

Acrylic pen on a red background. Image of a goat facing away from the viewer with two abstract mountain triangles. Magic: the Gathering Mountain alter.

Brown pen on yellow painted background. The drawing is the front of a tortoise surrounded by triangles in the frame. The text reads, “African Spurred Tortoise” and it is a Magic: the Gathering Plains alter.

Anteater drawing in blue acrylic pen on a yellow background on a magic: the gathering plains card.

Some more spooky season related alters I've done previously. I didn't think the Horror was obscure but no one seems to get the reference 😅

#mtgalters

A flying spirit token alter with a little ghost

A basic swamp altered with a yellow skeleton holding a scythe, a reference to the card from the game Lotería, La Muerte

Mysterious Creature altered with spooky eyes from the opening of the original Scooby Doo

A Horror Token altered with Manos, the titular villain from the film "Manos, the Hand of Fate" which was roasted by MST3K. He's a guy with a mustache wearing a black poncho with red hands on it

Week 01- spirit, poison, insect

Feedback or suggestions appreciated!

#tokentober2026 #mtgalters #mtgproxy

Poison counter tracking card altered with a poison apple

A spirit token featuring a long legged "rubber hose" style apparition from the animation for the Cab Calloway song, "St. James Infirmary Blues" from the Betty Boop cartoon.

An insect token featuring shuckle wearing a witch hat looking over a bubbling cauldron. He's a bug type and it's October that's why.

#Tokentober Day 4: Robot

I’m making the most random alters at all times of day, often with no connection to each other. #mtgalters #mtgproxy #pokemonalter

1/1 Goblin MTG token. Two red cute goblins with yellow outlines on a black background having a questionable interaction. I just drew one and then another to try and figure out how a goblin would look in my style and in the end it looks like a short one is touching the belly of the taller one.

Text is vertically written on the right in yellow and blue.

A wurm-like 1/1 snake token with painted fins inspired by xyris, the writhing storm. It is gray and muted pink/red in a green background.

A blue purple blob with eyes on 3/3 elemental token with flying. The background is painted splotchy shades of red with red lighter crosshatching on the edges.

Psyduck drawn chuckling to himself with mischievous eyes on a Psyduck card.

I am /beyond/ wiped out but wanted to post the last of this batch:: the full set of full text Counterspells!

Those of you who are familiar know I work in batches so I won't be doing the full month of Octoken, but I'll post more spooky paintings to fill in.
