This matter is simply imperative, and requires such intense secrecy that I could not trust this with any of my letter writing serfs! In fact, I want you to burn this as soon as you finish reading! … Perhaps invite Damien over when you do, not only so you have a witness, but also because you know how much Damien loves setting things on fire without question.
Anyway, I have recently found myself attempting to self-diagnose my lingering habits, as well as our friends’ comments behind my back. I strongly suspect I may have OCD. I am genuinely considering seeing a therapist to properly understand what is happening. I just hope you won't judge me for seeking professional counsel on the matter. Look at me: actually getting… What was it you and your friends call it? “Character development? Is that what the CD stands for in OCD? Then what does the O stand for?
Regardless, I suppose I have you to blame thank for making me entertain the outrageous notion that there might actually be something wrong with me that needs fixing. I only hope that, as my closest confidante, you will stand by me through whatever absurd revelation this therapist uncovers next.
