"I don't care that you are a fly. You should have seen the guys I fucked in college" she said, remembering that one gruesome night.

@paco.infosec.exchange.ap.brid.gyThis is, uh, attached to their HOUSE?
#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature #monstermiru
oh well duh you left out a factor of 2 in the mixing entropy term, no wonder this happened
@nev.status.nevillepark.ca.ap.brid.gy> kill fly – plees
#monsterdon Oh I get it they used the motorcycle goggles because they look like fly's eyes and see I'm just not used to decent cinema...
Sends him through again, now he's half man, half fly, and half black pillowcase. They did a great job on the monster costume, and this was a nice touch:
There's something truly comical about a fly wearing a suit and tie
@nev.status.nevillepark.ca.ap.brid.gyFace reveal! We got face reveal!!!!
Not the most inaccurate fly head I've seen, although I do think they could have done the compound eyes better.
Fly!Andre's angst is really well done. I am sure this was a formative moment for Guillermo Del Toro
By the same logic he should be about 10% overcoat
@nev.status.nevillepark.ca.ap.brid.gyReally nice how effective a guy with a cloth over his head is with just the hand and the halting typing
I mean what did you expect Helene
@fiend-unpleasant.mastodon.social.ap.brid.gyHe's gonna "slap her because she is being hysterical" with that fly hand.
@kcarr2015.mstdn.social.ap.brid.gy
I wonder what the present timeline is up to
Wait if Andre is part fly then why isn't the fly part human?
@nev.status.nevillepark.ca.ap.brid.gyI appreciate how totally matter-of-fact Helene is. Like oh yeah, my husband's turning into a fly, let's fix this¸ have your bowl of rum and milk honey
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
(stops for breath)
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
@nev.status.nevillepark.ca.ap.brid.gyOmg the hand reveal (and an A+ scream), nice'
It didn't look much like a fly hand tho??? (See e. g. this robber fly (family Asilidae) or this Drosophila.)
Honestly I figured she could take it, after having gotten over the initial shock
@paco.infosec.exchange.ap.brid.gyHe's a damn fast typist with one hand and a manual typewriter.
@nev.status.nevillepark.ca.ap.brid.gyDid…did they change the setting from France to Québec because they were casting a bunch of Anglo actors and they figured French + Anglo = Québécois?
