@48kram.bsky.social#MODtober Day 4: Remember those 3 weeks when games used tracker tunes for soundtracks? "Dimension 2012" by Necros. A Fasttracker (not FT2) tune using 8 channels. Used in the 1995 game "Crusader: No Remorse" from Origin but also in Digital Psychosis musicdisk. Played in TrackMeister
@andylemon.bsky.socialHappy Sunday :D here's today's #MODtober track out the archives, aptly called 'Jamming on Sunday' :D this one was done for Desire's Chip Chop <3 #amiga #demoscene #chiptune #protracker

@h0ffman.bsky.socialSo I uploaded to YouTube yesterday for #MODtober but forgot to post it, so expect another one late.
Where Did You Go - Where rave and cheese collide.
@48kram.bsky.socialDay 3 of #MODtober - more weird players, more odd tunes. Hunz on the track today with "Iron Curtain" from the Stage 9 musicdisk. Playing in FT2 clone by 8bitbubsy. You can always count on Hunz for good vocals on a tracker tune. Oh, and great tracking too. And atypical tracker styles.
@andylemon.bsky.socialHappy Saturday! Today's #MODtober archive post - an #amiga #protracker #chiptune by me from TTE's Amiga production Textual Healing 2 #demoscene <3
@48kram.bsky.socialThe MP3 version also has a slightly different title: "Another kind of beauty". I take this as evidence that the XM came first and this MP3 was edited slightly before being packed in the demo. #MODtober
@48kram.bsky.socialIn Mindcandy 1 commentary, Trix and crew ponder whether this tune was tracked. Answer is: "kind of". It's in the demo as an MP3 that's slightly different from this XM version. My theory is it started life tracked but they either finished in a DAW or found the MP3 easier to use in the demo #MODtober
@48kram.bsky.social#MODtober, day 2: A Kind of Beauty, by the amazing duo of Carlos and Norfair. The soundtrack to Live Evil by Mandula, released in 2000 at Assembly. Only placed 11th cuz ASM2k was a hot party for incredible releases. I <3 tracker music in unusual styles. Played in OCP on my P-II 400 via SB AWE32
@asimilon.netStill one of my all time favourites. Chills every time! #MODtober
@andylemon.bsky.socialIt's #MODtober :) Here's a little #amiga #protracker #chiptune of mine out the archives called Gimme Some Sugar <3 also lovely to see the max video upload is now 10mins on here - more tunage possible now!
@48kram.bsky.socialHell yeah - it's #modtober ! Time to post about awesome tracker tunes. Only, this year, I'm going to listen to them as stupidly as possible. Starting off with a banger - Cold Sweat by Virtua Point Zero, played on MOD4WIN under Wine on my Linux Mint desktop. Hey - at least it's in mono :-P
@h0ffman.bsky.socialWe begin this year's #MODtober uploads with a proper little roller. Taken from the game Eugatron, it earned its name when Korruptor (the original developer) requested the player's collision box be shrunk by 1 pixel.
