I compared Dionysus and Crusader’s websites and noticed that having clear menus and good local keywords is only part of it. Crusader had conflicting hours, and both sites could do a better job making customer reviews easier to find. . #MKTG4060fiasco

Crumbl brings the hype with weekly flavor drops, cute pics, and app rewards. Nothing Bundt Cakes feels more focused on birthdays, gifting, and easy ordering. My takeaway: a cute site isn’t enough—SEO, accessibility, and social proof matter too, before you hit checkout. #MKTG4060fiasco #SEO

Today I critiqued two bakery sites for SEO and social proof. The big takeaway: customer reviews on the page build more trust than heritage or alone. #mktg4060fiasco

For Cute as a Cupcake, having an easy-to-use website with positive customer testimonials could help attract more customers and increase sales. #MKTG4060fiasco

I audited three informational keywords for Kern County Animal Services. The client did not appear in the top organic results, and the SERP tool showed zero paid ads. Results were mostly Facebook, rescue organizations, nonprofit pages, blogs, forums, and veterinary websites. #MKTG4060fiasco

My transactional keyword audit showed that Cute As A Cupcake appeared through Yelp, Facebook, WeddingMag, and Google’s AI Overview, but its own website did not rank in the organic results. There were no paid ads, and People Also Ask appeared for two keywords. #mktg4060fiasco

My audit found that searches for “what is sour beer,” “how is sour beer made,” and “barrel aged beer” favor educational beer sites. Dionysus Brewing was absent despite promoting Juicesicle, showing an opportunity for SEO content about sour styles, brewing, and ingredients. #mktg4060fiasco

Today my client audit showed that they compete in a crowded aggregate-hauling market. The company should strengthen their Google Business Profile, collect customer reviews, and create helpful content that answers customer questions before ordering services. #mktg4060fiasco

This SERP audit for keywords was very interesting and made me realize how search engines can pull from many different websites for a user to see. #mktg4060fiasco

Brand searches show that a business doesn't fully control how customers find it. Third-party sites like review pages and directories often outrank the company's own website, so a business has to manage its online presence everywhere, not just on its own page. #mktg4060fiasco

The domain column showed me where results came from: Facebook, Reddit and Yellow Pages. The dates were interesting too. Some top results were years old, even a 2006 forum post. Did you see old content ranking for your keywords too? #mktg4060fiasco

@jbarrios4-96.bsky.socialOct 7, 2026, 3:08 AM

Searched "Cute as a cupcake vs Meijer Bakery": Meijer's own page ranks #3, the client doesn't appear at all. Across my 3 searches, Facebook, Reddit and Yellow Pages dominate. Brands missing from those places are invisible to people comparing options. #SEO #mktg4060fiasco

For the SERP keywords I used informational and i ended up getting a link to my client cute as a cupcake, i generated a excel file with the results with different links and what not and overall information.

I think that using navigational keywords had the strongest direct website visibility. Users will have an easier time finding information if they know the brand name. #mktg4060fiasco

In today's lesson, we used the professor's SERP tool to perform a scan utilizing keywords. This made it easier for us to obtain client-related data, including links to the client's website. #mktg4060fiasco

@gigaturtle06.bsky.socialOct 7, 2026, 3:03 AM

The sheet I generated through the SERP Keyword shows us the URL and domain. Also the snippet link and how long ago it was created. I found this data to be interesting because it shows the links origin.

In today’s class, we used keywords to do a scan using the professors SERP tool. This helped us access information about the client, such as the various links that direct to the clients website. #mktg4060fiasco

@sahibgill.bsky.socialOct 7, 2026, 2:54 AM

I looked at commercial search keywords for Dionysus Brewing. The biggest thing I noticed was they showed up a lot through sites like Tripadvisor, Yelp, and Finding Beer. We also got 0 ads, so most of its visibility seems organic. #mktg4060fiasco

@cloudrizzle.bsky.socialOct 7, 2026, 2:53 AM

Today we used keywords to run a through the professor's SERP tool. This allowed us to see data on the client, such as different links that lead to the client's website. #mktg4060fiasco
