@auradventurer.bsky.socialYes!!! Despite being pretty reserved most of the time, he lights up whenever someone asks him to recount one of his adventuring stories and he is quite good at weaving the story in a fun way! Best enjoyed around a campfire, in a tavern, or on a sunny picnic!
@auradventurer.bsky.socialMisago is more of an early bird when his sleep schedule isn't a mess. He can stay up and be a night owl when he needs to be (which is quite often), but if left to his own devices, he'd be an early bird.
@auradventurer.bsky.socialMisago confessed his feelings first—Estinien would have never admitted them openly, at least not for a very long time. It went really well, all things considered! Very awkward, but feelings were shared yay! Misago didn’t quite say those 3 words, instead blurting out…
@auradventurer.bsky.socialMisago eats *a lot.* He does a lot of his own cooking and it is fairly balanced. He does tend to eat a lot of seafood (he does like fishing after all) and prefers spicy and savory flavors over sweet. He loves sandwiches most of all, especially when out and about!
@auradventurer.bsky.socialMisago doesn't have anything special until EW Patches, when Estinien gifts him both armor and a sword to go with it. There's nothing special about the sword outside of being a cherished gift. He will also receive a very special DRG lance from Estinien before EC, blessed by Hraesvelgr.
@auradventurer.bsky.socialMisago goes very airhead/space cadet for a while after. He would be extremely embarrassed about it if he was with it enough to notice. 😁 (Tataru always knows.) (Almost everyone else does too, most of the time lol!)
@auradventurer.bsky.socialThe only physical characteristic that Misago ended up with is his hair color. The rest of his family had dark hair and Misago's should also be dark in color (and does darken from stress/age before he gets Azem's crystal). Hythlodaeus describes it as "kissed by a golden dawn"…
@auradventurer.bsky.socialGosetsu: "…We each have but one life, and it is not to be spent recklessly…"
Misago:「You're right. I have but one life. And I have chosen to live it by protecting others. "A knight lives to serve. To protect. There is no greater calling."」"I will not stand by and let her do this alone."
@auradventurer.bsky.socialMisago has stayed mostly the same as I've written him, in part due to gpose and vanilla limitations, in part because I really love his design and how he looks, moves, and feels. As a console player, I try to embrace things as they are in-game instead of wishing for different options.
@auradventurer.bsky.socialMisago never had a lot of money growing up, but didn't need much either. His primary concern is making sure he has enough for room and board and the rest is extra. As he earns his Scion stipend, he tends to spend it on clothes/armor and hobby supplies. He doesn't stress about it…
@auradventurer.bsky.socialMisago will always be fond of Middle La Noscea, since that is where he got his start as an adventurer! He'd probably pick the North Shroud. And for Thanalan, it would be Western and Scorpion Crossing in particular, where he got started with his sword.
@auradventurer.bsky.socialThere are a lot! But I'll always hold this one in Thavnair near and dear to my heart.
@auradventurer.bsky.socialMisago loves picking up something local when he's traveling! It is often clothing, but not always! (He's quite fond of the umbrella he bought on first visit to Kugane, though he eventually replaces it with a Corvosi/Thavnairian-styled one.)
@auradventurer.bsky.socialMisago's is actually pretty close! And quite Azem-coded! You might have to dig down through some anxiety to get to it with Misago, but it's definitely there for those he's opened up to and loves (romantically, familially, and platonically).
@auradventurer.bsky.socialMisago and Estinien are #Mistinien! It works so well with the shared "is" in their given names!
I don't have a name for Misago and Haurchefant—I don't really consider it a "ship", since the boat never really left the dock (they never shared their feelings with one another). 😭
@auradventurer.bsky.socialMisago's father died when he was very young (~3–4yo) and he doesn't remember him. His mother rarely talked about him, and when she did it was usually only in reference to how much Misago looked like him (except for his hair color).
@auradventurer.bsky.socialMisago's relationship with his mother was complicated and changed quite a bit over time. He had a great childhood and was very close with her as a kid, but she grew distant and cold as he grew up, straining their relationship and pushing him away as a teen, and eventually ending.
@auradventurer.bsky.socialI have done so much to my poor boy! 😅 I think the worst was probably breaking up his family at a young age. His father died when he was too little to remember him and then his mother took him away from Sui-no-Sato, separating them both from his brother.
@auradventurer.bsky.socialThis is something I've been thinking about a lot lately for Misago and his story moving forward beyond 6.0! This is probably gonna be long and rambling all over. 😅
Misago does NOT like or want the fame. At all. It actually makes him quite uncomfortable when people gush over him.
@auradventurer.bsky.socialWhile Misago eventually ends up with Estinien, his first big crush/romantic interest was Haurchefant. Blushing uncontrollably, tripping over chairs, stumbling over words, the full crush experience! 😚🫠
