Speaking of #WilliamLustig (the director of #Maniac and #ManiacCop) he’s the guy who founded and runs the wonderful DVD company #BlueUnderground, AND his uncle was #JakeLaMotta? As a movie buff (and to a certain degree a boxing fan) I say all that’s - incredible. #RagingBull Ⓐ

Sample dialogue in the movie #ManiacCop (decades before #BlackLivesMatter):
#RandomBlackDude (interviewed on the street): “I’ve seen plenty of my friends murdered by cops. Shot in the back, shot when they didn’t have a gun or knife. …You know, cops like killin’. That’s why they’re cops.” Ⓐ

From the director who gave us the notorious film #Maniac, #WilliamLustig also gave us #ManiacCop (written by #LarryCohen!). The film has some legendary actors - like #TomAtkins, #RichardRoundtree, #BruceCampbell, etc. And THE SOUNDTRACK features songs sung by (of all people) #DavidCarradine!? Ⓐ
