@thrakattaker.bsky.socialWeakest #Maiden album?
@thrakattaker.bsky.socialInstead of where guitar solos or riffs may have existed in older songs, #Maiden began to incorporate longer instrumental sections, orchestrated guitar parts, and interplay. These led to longer song form becoming increasingly common.
@marilynfrenche.bsky.social@thrakattaker.bsky.socialI *love* when an album finally clicks. It’s taken 11 years but “The Book of Souls” is now opening itself up to me. It just didn’t land with me in 2015. But my recent “Senjutsu” phase has been the key. I really enjoy ‘If Eternity Should Fail,’ ‘The Red and the Black,’ and the title track now. #Maiden
