People have a lot of differing opinions on how Gods were created, as we only know as much as they share in cryptic visions. What we do know is how Kyrie and Archive came to exist, as they weren't always seperate

Chaos within Order

It is said that once upon a time a single Goddess existed who was responsible for Order. As this Goddess gained more followers she became more powerful, but at the same time all the more conflicted. Even after societal standards and laws were established, people still felt wronged by the system itself at times.

Going against the law causes Chaos, but what about going against your own truth. Are you supposed to live a lie? If your whole perception of reality is wrong then what is right? What happens to logic if everything you experience is a deception? What if the society itself goes against logic?

The more the Goddess tried to solve this logical fallacy, the more she felt the feeling of Chaos creep into her mind. She felt afraid of the thought that she will be corrupted by the Unspeakable Madness, as such she came to the only logical conclusion. Life itself is illogical and everything has two sides. No matter how much you examine a situation one can never be completely wrong or completely right. One can only gain an opinion about a situation if they have moral standards, but a Goddess of order cannot afford to have only one perspective. As she came to this conclusion she reached into her own chest with both arms and started splitting herself apart. She pulled from both sides with a might that shaked the world itself and the result was the birth of pair of gods from the remains of the old.

One became Kyrie, the Goddess of Society, the Bringer of Peace, the Champion of Civilization, the Defender of All. She is authority itself, her word is law. People turn to her to bring justice in great time of need and protect the interests of the people.

The other became Archive, the Goddess of Logic, the All-Seeing Order, the Empty Mentor, the True Judge. She is the cold truth itself, her perspective is always objective. People turn to her to see the way through Chaos and to see reality for what it is, even if it might break one's heart.

After the two Goddesses were created they both were satisfied and finally felt like both society and logic had it's place in the world. Today they seemingly view each other as siblings, like the two sides of the same coin.

The scholars believe that a God has 3 forms; the symbolic form which is an object related to the deity, the persona which is our image of the deity and the true form which is the deity's actual visage. 2 more terrifying forms exist that I won't share, the seed and the shadow

Today people don't know but Gods used to walk the lands of Sadel'rin once upon a time. Before the Fall they used to live among mortals, they loved and betrayed, hoped and feared like us. Now they can only sense what their believers do and can only approach them using visions
