Outside of the goal conceded, it’s been a very good opening 20 minutes for Gotham who look much better than they did last week against Denver. #GothamFC #NWSL #LOUvGFC

1-1. Louisville find an equalizer off of a corner kick of their own. Courtney Peterson’s corner kick hits the far post and bounces right to Kayla Fischer who finishes while basically standing on the goal line. VAR is having a look though. #GothamFC #NWSL #LOUvGFC

Just all the space in the world for Guro on this goal. Every Louisville player but one were just ball watching in the box. #GothamFC #NWSL #LOUvGFC

Guro Reiten scored and it was her first NWSL goal.

1-0 to Gotham off of a long shot from Guro Reiten for her first NWSL goal. The play started with a short corner routine that resulted in Shaw finding Reiten in acres of space outside of the box and the Norwegian let rip to give Gotham the early lead. #GothamFC #NWSL #LOUvGFC

An easy save from Bloomer there, but good to see Dudley be so direct and have the confidence to drive into the box and take the shot herself. #GothamFC #NWSL #LOUvGFC
