Went to the Bonneville Dam today in hopes of seeing a vagrant Cocos Booby that's been hanging with the Cormorants. Got very lucky!🍀 #Birds #Lifer

A Cocos Booby flying towards the camera in front of a concrete wall that is topped with 8 Double-crested Cormorants. The Booby's wings are spread wide in a downstroke. The Cormorants are standing or preening and just behind the plane of focus. In the far background are fir trees.

I wasn't even sure these were possible at this time of year but relentless checking of the many, many Sardinian Warblers eventually paid off at a site north of Paphos this morning. #lifer My 1111th life bird.

I've got my longest tenured grudge bird, this specific immature green heron from Nisqually NWR who I've been chasing since May finally allowed me to see them this past Sunday. Also pictured in #Borb mode for the twofer.
