A unique machine: the Articulating Ford 9030. Its grapple and spears look perfect for grabbing bales off the trailer. Interesting setup with the barbed wire rolls too. #laura farms

A secure spot for supply drop-offs has been identified, close enough for easy farmer access but far enough from relief efforts to avoid fire risk. #laura farms

Moving fencing supplies and some bales. Even with the wind, these bales smell delicious and warm, a bit like a barn. Pretty sure the cows are going to approve. #laura farms

Fires burning right next to homes. Can only imagine the terror of seeing this land ablaze. #laura farms

Considering a Ford tractor for the farm, but still leaning towards John Deeres. This dry winter is unusual; past years brought heavy snow. Hoping it doesn't impact planting season. #laura farms

First fuel stop requires some strap adjustments and a once-over to ensure trailer tires are good and the load is secured. Looks like it's staying put. #laura farms

9 degrees outside and the wood stove kept the pickup warm all night. Excited to stoke it up again tonight. Fires are good in little metal boxes, not so much on open prairie. Don't forget the tow mirrors for this wide load. #laura farms

Weighing the bales to pay for them—this one's heavy. Turns out, we've added 10,000 pounds of bales to the scale. #laura farms

Spreading joy and hope to leave you with a smile. The ranchers are incredibly resilient and hardworking; they'll spring back from this disaster. There's no choice but to keep going. #laura farms

When fires sweep through pastures, wooden fence posts are often the first to go. Ranchers need to rebuild quickly to keep livestock contained. These bales will be put to good use. Fingers crossed for rain so the grass can grow back. #laura farms

In the almost 5 hours it took to drive home, containment went from 0% to 18%. Things are looking better, but danger remains for people, livestock, homes, and equipment. Praying for everyone out there fighting the fires. #laura farms

Ranchers face a hidden risk: wildfires threatening their livelihood while they actively fight them. Watching the food for their cattle burn away is a stark reality many consumers don't see. #laura farms

A wildfire started Thursday and they're just now gaining control Monday evening. Small towns are trying to understand what's happening. Unprecedented fire truck response. #laura farms

Six years on this journey together! It means the world that you spend your time with me here on a Nebraska farm, sharing the stories of incredible people. Thank you for being here. #laura farms
