Kīlauea put on quite a show overnight. The USGS is reporting a shallow magma intrusion right under Halemaʻumaʻu with rapid ground swelling and nearly 100 shallow earthquakes (the biggest was a 3.4 magnitude)

The good news? It’s entirely contained to the summit.
