@horrorposterguy1.bsky.socialBava's final film and with the splendidly spiralling Nicolodi it may dodge classic but it's a superbly unsettling swansong with scares to spare. Underrated. 1977

@derekbprops.bsky.socialWatching Burial Ground 1981 and I can’t tell if this kid is supposed to be 12 years old or 42 years old. Anyway so far it’s pretty great Italian zombie horror nonsense. Not sure there’s an actual Plot whatsoever here. I love it . What an array of creature makeups. #horrorsky #moviesky #italianhorror
@horrorposterguy1.bsky.socialShort Night of Glass Dolls. 1971. Sinister mystery told from the morgue with a jaw dropping final reel. Diabolically dark with twisted tension in spades.

@horrorposterguy1.bsky.socialEyeball. 1975. Italian exploitation legend Umberto Lenzi hits tourists in Spain with eye gouging gusto in a splendidly sleazy giallo gem. Gleefully lowbrow.

@diablaworld.bsky.socialDeath Falls Lightly (1972) is the kind of giallo that looks you dead in the eyes and says, “You thought you understood the plot? Adorable.” 🖤🔪Strange, sensual, and gloriously unhinged.

@horrorposterguy1.bsky.socialLike the provocative lovechild of Fellini and Friedkin. A stunning exploration of superstition and evil with an incredible lead from Lavi. Remarkable. 1963.

@stormywriter.bsky.socialThe location was nice. But the constant bickering between the characters was annoying. Honestly, I struggled to stay awake watching this because nothing much happens. #HorrorMovies #PossessionFilm #ItalianHorror #FoundFootageHorror #DemonicPossession
@stormywriter.bsky.socialShockingly so bad, they're good, and the lifting of scenes from Aliens is amusing. The acting is bad, apart from the always marvellous Gerreta Geretta. #HorrorMovies #SciFiHorror #GrindhouseCinema #ItalianHorror #LowBudgetHorror #CreatureFeature #MonsterFilm #RetroHorror
