Yes and no. The story starts in medias res and for the most part has a non linear narration, so you get some stakes but will need to keep going to understand what happened.

Maar is a social animal, cities ftw!
Renfred likes anywhere he can sees storms, so he likes the coastal area,city or countryside doesn't matter

Last week I got some dice sets, including a set for Izra and one for Renfred, as I they lacked one each (I already had one for Renfred)
Now they all got their set!

#Hendiatris is multi POV. Given how I structured the dynamic of Izra, Maar and Renfred it made no sense to restrict to only one POV. It freely switches between them three, with additional POVs of side characters when necessary (ie the chapter about Willow, Renfred's apprentice, is her POV)

#Hendiatris The drama when you want mummies Halloween costumes but there is no Egypt-equivalent in your setting (yet?) (which doesn't feature any definite culture-parallels anyway) so you have to invent a way to have mummy-like costumes without it being tied to Ancient Egypt nor being orientalism
